This achievement comes just 57 years after the company's founding, making Hyundai one of the fastest automakers to reach this production volume. The landmark event was celebrated with a ceremony at Hyundai's Ulsan Plant in Korea. In a symbolic gesture, the 100 millionth and first vehicle, an IONIQ 5, was delivered directly to a customer at the plant's shipping centre.
